Doris Rae Lavender Zohner, 72, Manila, Utah, died May 13, 2003, at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, after a short illness. She was born May 13, 1930, in Sparks, Nevada, the daughter of William Ray and Fay E. Konold Lavender. She married Lewis F Zohner on August 23, 1952, in Magna, Utah. She had been a resident of Manila since 1971 after moving from Magna. Her interests were oil painting, knitting and reading. She was a member of the Manila Grace Community Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, and on son, of Manila; one sister and one brother. She is preceded in death by her parents: one son Terry Zohner; and one brother, Clyde William "Bill" Lavender. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2003, at the Manila Cemetery in Manila, Utah.
