Mr. Peterson was born Jan. 20, 1897 in Kamas, Utah. A rancher, Mr. Peterson had been a resident of Manila area for about forty years.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine E., two sons, Burt and Douglas Peterson both of Norwalk, California, Mrs. Joe (Margaret) Lavee, Southgate, Calif., three stepsons, Keith Lamb, Gruver, Tex. Bert Lamb, McKinnon and Jimmie Lamb, Gruver, Tex.; four stepdaughters, Mrs. D. S. (Fern) Ferrero, Rock Springs, Mrs. Eldon (Grace) Jones, Eagle River, Ala., Mrs. Nedra Marble, Rock Springs, and Mrs. Elvo (Betty) Moss, Salt Lake City, Utah, two brothers, Roy Peterson, Evanston and Sherell, Boulder City, Nev.; one sister, Mrs. Harry (Martha) Henninger, Bellflower, California; several grandchildren and 23 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services Scheduled for George Peterson
Funeral services for George Peterson, 76, Manila, Utah, will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Manila. Bishop Richard Webster and Rev. George R. Mackey will officiate, Burial will be in the family plot of the Manila Municipal Cemetery.
Mr. Peterson died Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where he had been a patient since Dec. 17.
Friends may call at the LDS Church in Manila Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
