Funeral for Mildred Bonner Ramsey, 79, of Joaquin will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lawrence Thompson and Bro. Sam Glover officiating. Burial will be in Lone Cedar Cemetery in Joaquin.

Mrs. Ramsey died Jan. 6, 2007, at her home in Joaquin. Born March 6, 1927, in Joaquin, she was the daughter of Rufus and Alma (Cox) Bonner.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Lone Cedar Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Gene Ramsey.

Survivors include her daughter, Almagene Sheffield of Porter, Texas; sons, Rodney Ramsey of Old River and Billy Paul of Alvin; brothers, James F. Bonner of Shreveport and Howard Bonner of Joaquin; sister Mertie Mae Westerfield of Joaquin; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
