Ernest P. Allison

Allison Ernest P. Allison, age 83, of Sauk Rapids, died peacefully at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home on Friday, April 23, 2004. He was born on June 4, 1920 in Live Oak, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Helen (McClish) Allison; son, Ronald Allison; grandchildren, Renae (Jeffery) Prickett, Rachel Allison, great-grandchildren, Blake and Brianna Prickett; brother, W. Carl Allison; sister, Ila Faye Allison Altenhoff; aunt, Ila Nelseth, and many other family and friends. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, David and Alma (Mikell) Allison, and brothers, Bennie and Alva Allison. Ernest enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served in the Pacific through WW II. He then moved to Minnesota, where he worked at Anderson Dodge and the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed. Funeral service 2 PM Friday, April 30, 2004, at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th & West Broadway. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday April 29, 2004, and 1 hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank the St. Cloud VA Hospital and the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home for all of their help. Gearty-Delmore 763-537-4511
