Allen P. Wetmore, 64, husband, father and distinguished and decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force, died Tuesday, March 2, 1993, at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was born in Akron and was reared on a farm in Bath, Ohio. After an Air Force career of 23 years, including both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Crisis, he completed a second career as a corporate pilot. He completed his flying career out of Carlsbad, Calif., and New Jersey.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie J Wetmore of Corpus Christi; sons, Lee Wetmore of Syracuse, N.Y., Tim Wetmore of Newton, N.J. and Larry Wetmore of San Jose, Calif., daughters, Terri Speigner of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jean Wetmore of Austin, Texas; brother, Ernest C. Wetmore of Merritt Island, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral service was conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 1993 at the Church of Christ South, 3202 Rodd Field Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas, with Lindsey Garmon officiating. Graveside service will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Texas.
