Thomas L. "Tommy" Carter, 60, of the Glenwood community, died Wednesday at the Johnson City Medical Center.

He was retired from BASF after 26 years of service.

Mr. Carter was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve for six years.

His family noted that he "was a member of the White Sands Guns and Ammo Club, and loved to hunt, fish, and go camping."

Mr. Carter was a son of the late Paul and Mahala Carter.

At Mr. Carter's request, his body is to be cremated.
