Husband, Floyd Ralph Allred
GREENSBORO - Mrs. Mable H. Allred, 93, of 808 Robbs Court, Greensboro, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 13 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Climax. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Guilford County, she was born on November 18, 1917. Mable worked for Guilford FCX for fifty three years until she retired at the age of seventy and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She was a faithful wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charlie Eli and Mamie Elizabeth Causey Hanner; husband, Floyd Ralph Allred; sisters, Inez Monnett Dunham, and Violet Allen, and brother, Howard Hanner.
She is survived by daughters, Bobbie Monnett of Climax; Pat and husband James Baynes of Randleman; son, Charley Steve "Buddy" Allred of Climax; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and nine nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church and at other times at the home of Mrs. Allred on Friday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Hospice and her special caregivers who lovingly cared for her.
