Ackelson Infant
Dies Suddenly
Poppy Gwen Ackelson, 3-month-old infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Ackelson of Altoona, died early Monday morning at her home.
The baby had been awake at 5:30 a.m. and had gone back to sleep after her feeding. Her mother found her unconscious in her crib when she awoke a short time later. She was rushed to the hospital, but efforts to revive her failed.
The baby was born on September 9, 1971.
