Mary Elizabeth Morgan Exley, 86, died Monday, Dec. 10 at Memorial Medical Health University. Born in Effingham County.

She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she had formerly served on the Administrative Board. A member of the Susannah Wesley Sunday School Class, she served as Sunshine Chairman and the Women s Society of Christian Service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denny Rembert Exley, Sr.

Survivors: daughter, Nancy Exley Morgan of Savannah; sons and daughters-in-law, Denny R. Exley Jr. and Maxine Exley of Titusville, FL and Randall L. Exley and Cherry Exley of Fairfax, VA; brother, Warren Morgan of Clyo; sister, Martha M. Canning of Magnolia Springs, AL; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 2:00-4:00 p. m. and 6:00-8:00 p. m. Wednesday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a. m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, Rev. Larry Land officiating. Mrs. Exley will be taken to the Church at 8:30 a. m. Thursday to lie in state.

Pallbearers: Roy Howard, Chip Lingle, Brian Exley, Don Exley, Mike Exley and Aaron Hawthorne. Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.

Remembrances: Hospice Savannah, 1352 Eisenhower Dr., Savannah, GA 31406 or the American Heart Association.
