Clarence S. Condran, 78, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, of 2070 Joanne Ave., Hummelstown, entered into rest on Friday, August 12, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Harrisburg on September 20, 1932 and was the son of the late Charles F. and Grace Davis Condran.
Clarence was a retired brick layer and rigger of the former Bethlehem Steel Co. with over thirty-five years of service, a former driver for Boyd Transportation and the Eberly Transportation Services. He was the former owner of the Red's Snack Bar, Middletown and was a self-employed contractor.
He was member of the Stoverdale United Methodist Church, Hummelstown, the Hershey Italian Club and the Hummelstown Field and Stream Club, and the Five Aces Hunting Camp, Franklin County.
Clarence loved his wife, family. His leisure time was spent outdoors, hunting, and enjoying his cabin in Franklin County, as well as, watching his favorite teams, Steelers, Penn State and the Phillies.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Edward, Oliver Sr., and Earl Sr. Condran; two sisters, Ann Judy and Grace Geib.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joann K. Campbell Condran; daughter, Susan K. ( Randy) Crawford of Hummelstown; four sons, Dennis C. ( Vicki) Condran of Harrisburg, Kenneth W. ( Maria) Condran of Palmyra , Rick E. Condran of Boiling Springs, Michael A. ( Trish) Condran of Palmyra; sister, Scharley Geesey of Elizabethtown; ten grandchildren one great-grandchild.
A tribute to his life will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in the Stoverdale United Methodist Church, at Middletown and Wood Roads, Hummelstown, with the Rev. Joann M. Darrow officiating.
Burial will be in the Middletown Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the church.
