Aaron T. Neel, 35, of Bowling Green, died Friday August 12, 2011 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green. He was born May 19, 1976 in Bardstown, an employee for Ingram Industries, a graduate of Bethlehem High School and Western Kentucky University, a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Bowling Green, and an avid Michigan fan, fisherman, soccer, music and college football fan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor Neel and Mary Gertrude Thomas Wheatley and sister, Melissa Carol Neel
He is survived by his wife, Danette Neel; son, Evan Thomas Neel both of Bowling Green; parents, Joe and Nancy Neel; brother, Pat (Susan) Neel; sister, Emily (Jason) Cheek all of Bardstown; grandparents, Joseph "Buck" Wheatley and Geneva Neel of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday August 15, 2011 at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, with burial in St. Rose Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be 4 - 8 pm Sunday and 9 - 10:30 am Monday at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held Sunday evening.
