William J. Zutz

William J. Zutz, 60, of Rt. 1 Valders, died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following surgery.

He was born on Sept. 2, 1904, in Town of Eden, son of the late William anf Martha Habermann Zutz. He attended Niles School.

He was married to Laurina Nass on Sept. 26, 1925, at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Liberty.

The couple made their home at Rt. 1, Valders. He was a carpenter at Berger Boat Co., Manitowoc, and a former cheesemaker.

He was a member of the Carpenter Union at Manitowoc, and Grace Lutheran Church, Valders.

Survivors are his wife; four sons, Aubrey, of St. Nazianz, Orland, of Manitowoc, Teddy of Rt. 1 Valders, and William Jr., at home; three daughters, Miss Annabelle, at home, Mrs. Luther (Marlene) Cook, of Jacksonville, Tex., and Mrs. Walter (Lorraine) Stenzel, of Rt. 1 Valders; one brother, Hugo, of Brillion; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Paul Hansel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Christianson Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, from 3 p.m. today until 11 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
