Mrs. Martha Cooper

Rites will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Kimes Funeral Home for Mrs. Martha Estelle Cooper, 90, of Sandyville, who died Friday evening in the Haught Memorial Nursing Home.

The Rev. G. W. Prine will officiate with burial to follow in the Independence Cemetery at Sandyville.

Born in Jackson county, she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Rebecca Archer. She was a member of the Lockhart United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Affolter and Mrs. Hazel Burke, both of Parkersburg; one grandson, Robert O. Burke of Washington; two great-grandchildren, Steven and Kraig Burke; three nieces and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence David Cooper, who died in 1954, one daughter, Addie, two sisters and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
