MISS MAUDY ACREE
Miss Maudy Opal Acree, 76, of 412 Burkholder, died at Community Memorial Hospital at 11:15 o'clock Tuesday night. she had been hospitalized about seven weeks.
She was born March 6, 1895, daughter of Mose Franklin and Florence Smith Acree. She was a former employee of the Brown Shoe Co. 30 years and a member of the First Christian Church.
survivors include a sister, Mrs. Wilburn Leela Purdy, Moberly, brother, Russell Acree, Winslow, Arizonia, three nephews, Luther Davidson, Moberly, Bobby Lee Davidson, Sweet Springs, and Billy V. Davidson, Moberly, and two nieces, Mrs. Barbara Craigin, Phoenix, Arizonia, and Mrs. Bonnie Moyer, Winslow, Arizonia.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and a half brother, Clyde Lewis.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home by the Rev. Louis Harris, pastor of the first christian church. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery at Clark.
