Following a brief hospitalization NANCY ANN HOUCK went to be with her Lord on May 23, 2003. Born in Itasca, Texas, Nancy was educated in Houston public schools, San Marcos Baptist Academy and the University of North Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Connally of Waxahachie and her mother , Catherine Carter of Houston. A long time member of St. John the Divine Church, Nancy was employed by Linens Unlimited for the past fourteen years. She is survived by her husband Bill J. Houck and her son Steve Houck of Houston, daughters Cynthia Thomas of Phoenix and Julie Houck of Austin; grandchildren Cathleen Ezanidis of Houston and Trent Thomas of Denver; also one great-grandchild Alyssa Ezanidis, her brother Craig Carter of Houston, her sisters Carol Frederking of Houston, and Cay Butler of Arlington, Virginia. The funeral service will be held at the American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2003. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. May 27, 2003 at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Houston. Nancy's family are thankful for the medical care she received from the staff of Hermann Memorial and MD Anderson hospitals.
