FAYETTEVILLE — Thomas Vaughn, 83, of Fayetteville died Aug. 13, 2011, in Springdale. He was born April 3, 1928, in Washington County to William Henry Vaughn and Lennie Blanche Buson Vaughn.

He was former employee of Gates Manufacturing in Siloam Springs and a former resident of Highfill.

Survivors include two brothers; five sisters, including Jody Blakemore of Springdale, Ark.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Yell Cemetery in Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna Mae Tippins Vaughn; two sons, Terry Vaughn and Larry Vaughn; four brothers, William Henry "Bill" Vaughn, Gerald Vaughn, Allen Vaughn and David Vaughn; and one sister, Helen Gaiche.
Survivors include two brothers, John Vaughn of Chouteau, Okla., and Jerry Vaughn of Sandusky, Okla.; five sisters, Juanita Williamson of Oologah, Okla., Verna Moss of Goodman, Mo., Naomi Yarberry of Catoosa, Okla., Jody Blakemore of Springdale, Ark., and Linda Shaw of Collinsville, Okla.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
