James "Jim" Walter Langemo, 80, of Brockway, passed away on Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at the Billings Clinic of natural causes.

He was born May 28, 1926, to Theodore and Beatrice Parker Langemo in Circle. He lived in the Watkins community all of his life.

Mr. Langemo entered the United States Army in 1946, served as a drill sergeant for the 19th Special Services and received an Honorable Discharge in 1948.

He was very proud of his accomplishment of building a successful farm and ranch.

Mr. Langemo served on many community boards including the Brockway School Board, Circle High School, Farmers Union Oil of Circle, Farmers Union Elevator of Circle, Montana Bank of Circle and 30 years on the McCone Electric Board.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha, with whom he had just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 19; his daughter, Joyce (Carl) Camper of South Colstrip; his sons, Rod and Jim Langemo Jr. of Brockway; his sister, Edith (Frank) Carter of Texas; his brother, Ted Langemo of Glendive; and his grandchildren, Kenny, Marissa, Kyle, David and Kimberly.

His youngest son and ranching partner, John; sister, Helen Shipman; and brothers, Don and Eddie preceded him in death.
Cremation has taken place in the Bullis-Graves Eastern Montana Crematory.

Memorial funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, in the Circle First Lutheran Church with Pastors Dave Aaseng and Neva Rathburn officiating.
