Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, in the Pleasant Valley Church for Michael Wade [sic] Coakley, month-old son of Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Wade Coakley. The baby died Wednesday, March 31 [1948] in the Glasgow Hospital of accidental hot water burns. The Rev. D.L. Druien, assisted by the Rev. J.A. Humble, was in charge of the services, and interment was in the church cemetery. Besides his parents, the infant is survived by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Hubert Coakley and Mr. & Mrs. Estes.
