BURCH, Duane E. "Buck" - Of Flint, age 92, died Monday, September 28, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 12Noon Friday October, 2 2009 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah Larose-Nettell officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army and the Genesee County Food Bank. Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Duane was born in Flint on May 10, 1917, and was a resident of Flint most of his life. Duane served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from RC Larsen's Chrysler Dealership. Surviving are 3 children, ..., ..., ...; 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, ...; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret and 2 brothers.
