Arthur E. Blair, 77, of Greensburg, formerly of Columbus, died at 5 a.m. Thursday May 15, 1997, at his home in Greensburg.
He drove a Columbus City bus for 17 years, retiring in 1982. He attended First Church of God in Greensburg and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Funeral will be conducted at 10:30 am. Monday at Norman Funeral Home at Hope, with the Rev. Robert Browning officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery.
Mr. Blair was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Bartholomew County, the son of Robert and Elizabeth Blaney Blair.
He is survived by a step son, Dallas Blair of Wisconsin; a stepdaughter, Mary Jane Blair of Oregon; brothers, Donald Blair of Greensburg and William Blair of Columbus; a sister Bernadine Altop of Bloomington; several stepgrandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and Harold Blair; and a sister Opal Jones.
