THEODORE CARPENTER DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME
Theodore Carpenter, for more than forty years a resident of Gage county, died suddenly yesterday morning at his home, 1923 High street, from an attack of heart trouble. He was ailing the first of the week, but yesterday morning arose as usual and ate breakfast. A short time later he was stricken, passing away before a physician could be summoned.
Mr. Carpenter was eighty years of age and is survived by two sons, Charles of this city with whom he made his home, and Milo Carpenter of Lincoln. His wife passed away about six years ago.
Funeral services will be held from the family residence Monday at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock from the First Christian church. The sermon will be read by Rev. Mr. Stuckenbruck. Burial in Evergreen Home cemetery.
