Edward C. Kuzniewski, 79, Milwaukee, widower of a former Portage County native, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alexander Church in Milwaukee. Entombment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel in Greenfield. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Kuzniewski was born June 2, 1923, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Peter and Victoria (Haberski) Kuzniewski Sr.
He was married to Gertrude Milanowski. She died Jan. 26, 1999.
He retired from Superior Tool & Die Co.
Survivors include four brothers, Ted (Faye), Casey (Catherine), Syl (Audry) and Norb (Dolores); one sister, Stephanie Gwiazda; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Sally Hayduk; and one brother, Peter Jr.
