Mrs. Lula Mae Petzold, 76, Smithville, died Tuesday at Spelman Memorial Hospital, Smithville,. She was born in Bazine, Kansas., and had lived in this area 60 years. Mrs. Petzold was a Member of the Emmanuel Bible Church, Smithville. She leaves a Son Gerald (Jerry) Walter of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Gene Thompson; a brother, John Sears of Kansas City, Kansas; a sister Mrs. Christine Dahl, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and a grandson. Services will be at 10a.m. Saturday at the church; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hanks Chapel, Smithville. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the church.
