Frederick Arthur Zellman, of Havre de Grace, died Saturday, May 17, at Perry Point VAMC. He was 86. He was born in Glenville, MD, to the late Frederick K. Harrison Zellman and the late Martha Irene Mitchell Zellman. Mr. Zellman served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. His working years were spent doing carpentry at Wally's Boatyard. Mr. Zellman loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed crabbing. He also enjoyed gardening and farming. He loved playing cards as well. A close companion Barbara Hall of Aberdeen, MD, and a host of nieces and nephews survive Mr. Zellman. He was especially close to Jim and Ruth Brooks of Havre de Grace, MD. His brothers John, Harry, Allie, Wilford, and Andrew "Shimmie" Zellman, and his sisters Pamela Viola Burkentine, Agnes Narvel, Millie Zellman, Nellie Hitchcock, and Martha French predeceased him.
