Adèle Malvina Parent, daughter of Louis Dosithé Parent and Salomé Michaud, was born on 18 Jun 1851 and baptized the following day at Saint André in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada. She married Vital Charest, son of Cyrille Charest and Hélène Butler, on 2 Aug 1871 at Saint Patrice in Rivière du Loup, Québec, Canada. The couple settled in Fraserville, Témiscouata, Québec, where they raised their family. About 1897, the family immigrated to the United States and settled in Androscoggin County, Maine. Adèle died at age 74 and was interred in Saint Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston, Androscoggin, Maine.
