Charles Patrick Alvey, 80, died Tuesday at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a native of Grayson County, a retired cement mason, and a member of Plasterers Local 694 and Incarnation Catholic Church. Survivors: sons Gene and Terry Alvey; daughters Pam Nesbitt and Brenda Rock; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, his church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace. Entombment: Evergreen. Visitation: Owen, 5317 Dixie Highway, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday.
