He is survived by his wife, the former June Rodenhizer; two sons, John, Bridgewater; Wayne, Halifax; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Marlene, in infancy; son, Brenton; two brothers, Basil, Harris. Funeral was held Sunday in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Pastor Jennie Cookman officiated, assisted by Rev. Willis Ott. Burial took place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Upper LaHave. Donations may be made to Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, Upper LaHave or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
