Born in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late John Lee Watts and Maggie Chapman Watts. Mr. Watts was a member of Charity Baptist Church and worked for Bringer Mills.
He is survived by son, Buddy Watts, of Lawndale; daughter and her husband, Linda and Billy Price, of Waco; three brothers, Joe Watts and Ken Watts, of Lawndale and Dwight Watts, of Shelby; four sisters, Maude Watts, of Lawndale, Dessie Towery, of Bel-wood, Linda Kay Drewery, of Shelby and Colleen Sevene, of Ohio; and five grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home
