Lucille is survived by five children, Frank Cloven of Mexico, Rev. Wayne (Fern) Cloven of THAYER, Beulah (Robert) Camp,of Martinsburg, Carol (Hervil) Crabtree of Mexico and Carmalee (ED) Lewellen of Martinsburg, one sister, Frances Belle Owens of Alton, one sisterinlaw Blanche Burkhead of Mexico. 17 grandchildren, 22 greatgrandchildren, three greatgreatgrandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, seven stepgreatgrandchildren, three step daughters, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Lurine Cloven, one daughterinlaw Rita Cloven, two grandchildren, Robin Marie Camp and Leo Robert Risenhoover, two brothers, Sherman Holmes and O.F. "Tobe" Holmes; five sisters, Helen Sisco, Ruby Grooms, Cecil Childers, Leona Lamb and Dorothy Mae Hensley.
In 1943, Lucille traveled by train to Portland, Oregon with Frank. Wayne, Beulah,and Carol to join her husband. They then went to work at Willamette Iron and Steel Corp. welding on battleships. Lucille was a certified welder. She also managed two resturants in Mexico and had worked in garment factories in Vandalia, Mexico, Wellsville and Thayer.
Lucille always had beautiful flowers in her yard and loved to plant a garden every year. She was an excellent seamstress and made all her children's clothes when they were young. She also cooked very good southern style food. When someone showed up at her home, they were greeted by "well, howdy do" She was an avid Cardinal fan and never missed watching a game if she could help it.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home with REV. Jimmie Stewart and REV. Baitinger officiating. Visitation is from 1p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers;will be her grandson, Kelsey Crabtree, Caleb Crabtree, Michael Cloven, Chris Cloven, Loyd Cmp, and Kevin Risenhoover.
Honorably pallbearers will be all grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and greatgreatgrandchildren;
