Born in Sunset, she was a daughter of the late William Austin and Lula Swanson Bryson.

She was a member of East Side Baptist Church and was a retired beautician.

Survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Sunday, July 1, 2007, Liberty Mortuary Chapel.
