Mrs. Garner Dies Sunday
Mrs. Marjorie Price House Garner, 57, 310 Pittsburgh Ave. Sheffield, died Sunday at 12 noon at her residence.
Mrs. Garner was born in Florence but had been a resident of Sheffield for 35 years. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, Sheffield.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, Sheffield, with Rev. Roscoe Griffin, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, Buford R. Garner, Sr., Sheffield; two sons, Carl A. Young, Tuscumbia, Rt. 2 and Buford R. Garner Jr., Sheffield; three daughters, Mrs. Julia Copeland and Mrs. Betty Morris, both of Sheffield; and Mrs. Rosa Nell Moody, Durham, N. C.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Edna Knitter, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs.Roalia Furr, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Lucille Pittman, Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Anderson, Cloverdale and Mrs. Mary Paulk, Cloverdale; and fourteen grandchildren.
