Sandra Enos, 6, Fatally Injured Monday Night
Sandra, Enos, 6, was fatally injured around 7:30 Monday night, when she started across the street to give safe escort to her dog. She dashed in front of a car driven by Miss Carol Elaine Steele, 18, Akron, and was killed instantly.
Sandra was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Enos, who live three and one-half miles northwest of Caro.
Marilyn Morel, Akron, a passenger in the car, told Deputy Frank Kroswek the little girl ran from the side of the road directly into the path of the car.
Miss Steele swerved the car off the road in a futile attempt to avoid striking the child.
The Huston Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
