Patricia "Pat" Ross Atkinson, 47, of Asheboro died Tuesday (June 6, 2000) at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be conducted by 3 p.m. today at Covenant Christian Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Lois Johnson and the Rev. Boyd Beverly. Burial will follow at Hopewell Friends Meeting.
Mrs. Atkinson was a native of Randolph County and had worked at Avery Dennison in Greensboro. She enjoyed painting and outdoor activities.
Surviving are her daughters, Sharon Leigh Woodell of Liberty and Brittany Renee Atkinson of the home; mother, Mary Ross of Asheboro; a sister, Shelby Ross Fox of Siler City.
