Tishomingo--Funeral services for Grace Bell Brogdpn. 87, were 11:30 am today at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with T-Bone King conducting the rites. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Oklahoma City, at 3:30 pm. She died Saturday in a Tishomingo hospital. She was born March 17, 1897 in Anderson, MO, to Mr and Mrs Alexander Poore (Poor). Mrs Brogdon came to Tishomingo a year ago from Blanco, TX. She married Jess L. Brogdon in 1944 in Oklahoma City. He died in 1980. She was affiliated with the Christian Church and All Faith Chapel in Texas. Mrs Brogdon was an employee of the Wilson Co., Oklahoma City, for many years. Survivors include a son, Dr. E. S. (Eugene S.) Bell (Jr), Tishomingo; a daughter, Edythe Knox, Blanco, TX; a sister, Laura Empie, Oklahoma City; 5 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bearers will be Earl Brewer, Ray Knox, Steve Bell, Pat Bell, J. C. Cobb and Jim Bradley.
