MABEL E. PAXSON, 73, died Tuesday at Wells Community Hospital, Bluffton. Born in Wells County, she was a pie baker at Torchlight Restaurant, Fiat, and was a homemaker. Surviving are six sons, Edward of Lafayette, and Richard, Max, Raymond, David and Bill, all of Bryant; a daughter, Donna Bense of Columbus; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C., in 1977, and a daughter, Connie Michael. Services at 10 a.m. Friday at Gilead Church. Calling from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, Montpelier. Burial in Twin Hill Cemetery. Memorials to the church.
