William R. Holt, 68, 108 Peoples Terrace, Pomeroy, died Tuesday morning at the Holzer Medical Center.

William was the son of the late Rutter and Lillian (Lilly) Mae Bonnett Holt.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Sprouse Holt, six daughters: Mary Jane (Thomas) Selbe of Columbus; Shirley (Ray) Legg of Cleveland; Jeanne (Thomas) Dodds of Calumet City, Ill.; Karen (Mayford) Harris of Xenia; Margaret (Charles) Jones, Jr. of Pomeroy and Sherry Holt of Pomeroy; two brothers, Jesse E Holt of Londonderry and Charles (Keiser) Keyser of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Mattie (Pete) Sprouse of Rutland; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents were a son, Joseph Holt; two brothers, Thurman and John (Keiser) Keyser, and a sister, Mrs. Rachel Joachim.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Ewing Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Lund officiating.

Burial will be in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
