Nancy Stevens married Duncan LaHue, son of Cornelius and Sabrina Batman LaHue in Harrison County, Indiana on February 18, 1858. They had eight children.
Sometime between 1850 and 1859 when their first child was born, Duncan and Nancy moved to Illinois. The 1870 and 1880 census shows them living in Christian County, Illinois.
Duncan served in the Union Army during the Civil War in Company A of the 149th Illinois Infantry. In 1891, he applied for and received an invalid pension. In 1907, Nancy LaHue, widow of Duncan LaHue and a resident of Illinois, applied for and received a widow's pension. From this we assume that Duncan died in 1907.
