My sweet, sweet little girl.

We got Biskie when she was 8 weeks old. She was born on a farm in Gales Creek, Oregon. My daughters and I brought her home in our Ford van accompanied by Bosco, our beautiful male Golden Retreiver. He drooled all the way home because he was so excited to have another dog in the family.

Biskie was always the sweet one. When Bosco would get moody and growl at one of the girls they would turn to Biskie for comfort and a hug. Biskie loved food, especially frosting and pie dough. She would give anything for a taste of either. She had a thick, long gold coat which needed lots of brushing. Sometimes we'd miss places on her belly and then she'd need to go to the "beauty parlor", as we called it. When she came home she always looked like a Princess. And smelled good too!

In 1991 Biskie and Bosco gave us 10 beautiful little Goldie puppies. Unfortunatley only 8 survived. But boy did we ever have fun with those puppies! Every night we each had a puppy or two to hold while we watched TV. Eventually they all went to wonderful homes, all except one who we called Mr. Sleepy Head Woodie. He was last to go and did actually live with another family for one whole night. But the next day they called us saying that he was keeping Grandma awake with his crying so they brought him back to us. When the girls saw he was back they cried with joy! How could we part with him then? So for this period of our lives we had 3 big dogs who brought us lots of enjoyment and love.

Biskie was faithful, loving and gentle. A true "lady", which we sometimes called her. Your Mommy, Poppa, and Sissie's will always miss you Tweet Heart. Sleep well baby girl and thanks for choosing us to be your family.
