Amy Sue Harris, 44, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a courageous seven-year battle with breast cancer.

She was born October 6, 1966, in Washington, a daughter of G. Marvin and Janice Johnston Wolf of Washington.

She graduated from Trinity High School in 1984.

She worked as a sales clerk for JCPenney.

She was a member of Grove United Presbyterian Church.

She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed the time she spent with her family and her friends.

She loved going to the beach and enjoyed watching Steelers, Pirates and Penguins games on television. She loved to garden and work outside on her flowers. She also cherished the times she spent with her loving companion and friend, Patchy, her Jack Russell Terrier.

On April 1, 1989, she married Michael Harris of Washington, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Cody Harris, at home; three daughters, Samantha, Alexa and Emma Harris, all at home; a brother, Craig Wolf of Washington; two sisters, Stacey Thomas of Washington and Kristen (Donnie) Iams of Washington; an uncle and aunt, James and Janice Tennant; father and mother-in-law Ronald and Barbara Harris; three sisters-in-law, Cheryl Johnston, Tracy (Derek) Desmond and Jody Polen; four brothers-in-law, Ronald J. (Sandra) Harris, Thomas (Kristy) Harris, Clifford Polen and Robert Thomas; nieces and nephews Jenna and Austin Thomas, Donnie and Logan Iams, Chelsea and Adam Johnston, Nikki (Rudi) Baker, Luke Desmond, Travis, Tanya, Jessica and Rachel Polen, Tyler and Aaron Harris, Daniel Hartzog and James Getz; and a great-niece, Bella.

Deceased are a nephew, Ryan Robert Johnston, and a brother-in-law, Vaughn Robert Johnston.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 26, at Grove United Presbyterian Church, West Middletown, with the Rev. Jack Emerick officiating.
