Gladys Louise Adams, 87, formerly of Bozeman, passed away May 12, 2005, in McMinnville, Tenn. She was born Nov. 2, 1917, in Big Timber, to Lewis Edward and Susie Mae (Wheaton) Ewan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Augustus A. Adams; a sister, Harriet Kuglin, and brother, Lewis Ewan.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Dorothy May Collipy, Chicago Heights, Ill.; sons, Alan Michael Adams, Waukegan, Ill., and Victor H. Adams, Denver; and sisters, Annie Belle Darrah, East Helena and Peggy Lou Guarch, Coral Gables, Fla. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, one of them being Michael Fier with whom she lived in McMinnville, and numerous great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation with the family at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2005. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. Cremation will take place following the funeral.
