Clara Snyder Rites Wednesday
Clara Augusta Snyder, the daughter of Dyer and Clara Carr Booth, was born June 25, 1893 at Liberal, Mo., and died April 7 at the Valley County Hospital at the age of 74 years, nine months and 12 days. She had been ill briefly.
Mrs. Snyder came to Ericson with her parents in 1893 and there she received her early education. During her lifetime she had lived at various times in Illinois, York, Nebraska and also in California.
She leaves to mourn three sisters, Mrs. Basha Ashton, of Monticello, Ill.; Mrs. Lota Barkhurst, San Diego, Calif.; Mildred Booth of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a brother Walter of Spokane, Wash., several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Funeral rites were held Wednesday, Apr. 10 at 2 pm at the Hastings-Pearson chapel with Rev. Curtis Trenhaile in charge. Interment followed in the Ord cemetery.
