FORESTHILL, CA - Services for Dorothy Phillips Kury, 72, of Foresthill, CA will be at 10:00 AM Friday. May 17,2002 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Lawrence Phillips and Lamoine Saulsbury officiating. Dorothy will be laid to rest among several generations of her ancestors in the Williams Family Cemetery, Eros, LA.
Dorothy passed away May 9,2002. She was born June 9,1929 in Sandia, TX. Dorothy was a resident of Huntington Beach, CA for 27 years prior to moving to the Northern California foothills. She was a resident of Foresthill since 1989. Dorothy retired after over 19 years as a Teaching Aide in the Oceanview School District. The loves of her life were her God, family, friends, music, and square dancing.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years; son, Michael Kury of Eros, La.; daughter; 2 sisters; and 4 grandchildren
Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, La.
Reception to follow graveside services at the home of Lawrence Phillips. She loved you all very much. She told me so many times. Her loving husband, Jim.
