Mrs. Martha Milholen Sullivan, age 72, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
Born in Tirzah, S.C., Mrs Sullivan was a daughter of the late Robert and Laurayne Arrants Milholen. She retired from Standard Life Insurance in Rock Hill after 35 years of employment. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Church Choir and directed the Children's Choir. She also led singing at Harborchase Assisted Living. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of the Professional Secretaries Association and was a Notary Public.
Surviving are her daughter, Patti Sullivan Garrison of Fort Mill; her son, the Rev. Rusty Sullivan of Flowermound, Texas; her brother, Bobby Milholen of Huston, Texas; two sisters, Mary Carter of ROck Hill and Paulette King of Clover; five grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Delano "Del" Sullivan in 1995.
