Clyde worked for the State Highway Department of Tennessee for 13 years, then moved to Florence, Alabama & worked at the Reynolds Aluminum plant in Sheffield for a few months before moving to Michigan and settling in Dearborn. He worked as a city bus driver for the Dearborn Coach Company for 23 1/2 years, until his retirement in 1967. At that time, he returned to Hohenwald and went into the grocery business.
He passed away in 1969 & his wife Eva Nola remained in Hohenwald until her passing in 1999.
