Clare Fradenburg, 98, formerly of Stanford, died Monday in New Paltz. She was born Sept 16, 1884 in Pine Plains, dau of Leonard & Josephine Moore Porter. She was married to Burton Fradenburg, who died in 1969. Survived by 3 nephews, Kelsey Wirehouse, Clinton Corners; Paul Haight, Stanfordville; Cyril Barton, Boca Raton, Fl; one niece, Elaine Germond, Millerton.

Clare Porter Fradenburg had a son, Norman B. Fradenburg, who died in 1929. She also had another brother, Eugene Porter. Clare's siblings were: Ella Joanna Porter Haight, Emerson Porter, Nina Porter Barton, Eula Porter Hevenor, Jennie Porter Wirehouse, and Eugene Porter. Nina Porter Barton was my paternal grandmother, and I personally knew all of these sibs except for Emerson, who died young.
