Final Rites Sunday For Arthur Barnes
Arthur Raymond Barnes, 38, died Thursday, Nov. 18, at 10:10 p.m. in a Hillsboro Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Marshall and Marshall Chapel, with Rev. Calvin Halbert and Rev. Doug Shelley officiating. Burial was in the Peoria Cemetery.
Mr. Barnes was born Sept. 26, 1927 in Whitney and had lived in this community all his life. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ethel Barnes; a brother, Bobby Barnes of Gholson; eight sisters, Mrs. Valda Worley of Aquilla, Mrs. Nell Barnhart of Waco, Mrs. Lillian Medford of Blum, Mrs. Naomi Cypert of Whitney, Mrs. Pauline Williford of Richardson, Mrs. Marceen Everett, Mrs. Roberta Birkes and Mrs. Jane Evans all of Waco.
