Roy Edward Harp, 49, of 613 School St., Lakeview, Ga., an employee of the W. S. Dickey Clay Co. for more than 20 years died early Tuesday morning in a local hospital.
Mr. Harp was a veteran of World War II and a member Newnan Springs Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Lackey Harp; two daughters, Joan Marie and Susan Ann Harp; parents, Mr. and C. O. Harp, all of Lakeview; one sister, Mrs. James C. Price Jr., East Ridge; three brothers, Olin Harp, Chickamauga, Ga., and Carl and Horace Harp, both of Lakeview.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Newnan Springs Methodist Church with the Rev. Hoyt Henderson officiating.
Burial will be in National Cemetery.
The body is at the Lane-Routh Funeral Home.
