A. E. Brandtad, 74, died July 19, 1933 at the home of his son, H. D. Branstad. Interment made in the Forest Home cemetery near Leland. Deceased born in Norway and came to America with his parents when l3 years old. The family lived for some years in Winneshiek county and then came to Winnebago county and Leland. He married Ingeborg Nerli of Decorah, who died 11 years ago. He is survived by 2 sons, Gust of Hayfield, Mn., H. D. of Leland,3 daughters, Mrs. Levi Larson of Leland; Mrs. Herman Granseth of Gilmore, Mrs. Winfield Crowly of Saint James, Mn., 3 brothers, E. P., E. E., and Ed near Leland, 4 sisters, Mrs. Michaelson and Mrs. Husby of Forest City, Mrs. Albert Thompson; and Mrs. Stanley Saffle, both of Minn. and 23 grandchildren.
