He was an enthusiastic traveler and loved aviation, obtaining a pilots license in 1928 at the age of 20.
Because of his love for cars, he founded the Mercedes-Benz Club of Northern CA, Inc. in 1957.
Services held on June 11, 2003, at the Chapel of Roller, Hapgood & Tinney, in Palo Alto. Interment Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto, CA.
