Marriage - A very pretty wedding took place Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred L. Hart on Bay avenue, when their only daughter, Miss Jane Ellen, became the bride of J. Field Adams, son of Mrs. Josephine Adams of Blue Point. The ceremony was performed in the living room at 9:30 by the Kev. Albert H. Cooke of the Congregational church. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a lovely white satin gown and finger tip veil. She carried a bouquet of lilies of the valley and white roses. Miss Marion Raynor of Islip was her only attendant and she was dressed in blue taffeta and carried a colonial bouquet of token roses and delphinium. Alfred L. Hart, Jr., brother of the bride, was best man, About 45 guests were present. The decorations, by Morley's, were white roses, orange blossoms, white dahlias, ferns and palms. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Hart cottage on the Patchogue River. Music was furnished by Linc Andrews and His Orchestra. Upon their return from a trip through the South, Mr. and Mrs. Adams will reside in Wantagh. Mr. Adams, who is a graduate of Bayport High school, is employed with Alfred L. Hart, Inc., in Brooklyn. Mrs. Adams is a graduate of Highland Hall, Holidaysburg, Pa., and Fairmount Junior college, Washington, D. C.
